The rule changes will be agreed
and made available on the website after the meeting which will be on the night of the Charity Competition.

The Delegates competition will be held at Tilbury F.C.

A list of legible secretaries, captains, treasurers will be uploaded soon.

The Top 32 Competition will be held at South Ockendon, with the trophy presentation on the same night.

32 players will play in the competition, players finishing outside the top 32 have a chance of playing should any of the qualifying players fail to attend, so encourage all players from your teams to come along. Any players that put their names in to play should any of the top 32 players not attend, will be chosen by final position in the players table.

Stifford A Crowned Champions of Thurrock
After being down 2-1 in the pairs, Stifford A came back to win 6-5 in an entertaining game that looked as though nerve played a bigger part than skill on the night. Both teams have played well all season, and it all came down to the third leg of the last game.

Good performances from Micky Squelch, John Pedel and Colin Bodimeade including a superb 150 finish see Stifford quickly get in front, with Steve White of Ockendon the only winner in the first 4 games in the singles. Mick Giesen then went on to win to make it 4-4. An excellent performance from Paul Bush put Stifford back in front 5-4. After playing together for many years Gary Godden decided to leave the decider down to Ronnie Royal, as he lost to Keith Petrie in another good game with some good finishing.

At 5-5 Ronnie Royal had to prevent Del Cannon from going the whole season undefeated. Del went 1-0 up, Ronnie hit straight back not allowing Del a shot at a double, and at 1-1 Ronnie hit double 8 with his last dart, securing victory for Stifford A and securing that well deserved league champions title.

Congratulations to Stifford A!

Monday Night Mens Final League Night!

With the final league game of the 2016/17 season fast approaching, league leaders Stifford A play at home to South Ockendon, after a good season for both teams, the winners of this game will be crowned champions, while neither side can finish as runners-up, this will be left down to either Chadwell, or Tilbury F.C who play each other at Chadwell.

Follow our Twitter feed for live updates on the Stifford A v South Ockendon match!

Its also interesting at the top of the players table, Del Cannon only needs one leg to claim the players table champion, with Simon Pratt in second needing to win 2-0 with Del losing 2-0. Also, Micky Squelch, Jimmy Myers & John Pedel will all be playing for a seeded position in the top 4

There are also 6 players outside of the top 32 still in with a chance of taking a place within the top 32, with Martin Exell (Stifford B) in 32nd place not playing on the night.

John Pedel has a chance of winning the 180's trophy outright. Currently level on 8 with Billy Plaster (Stifford B) who also will not be playing on the night due to Stifford B's Bye.

Penultimate Week!

Going into the penultimate week, Stifford A, South Ockendon and Chadwell are level on points at the top of the league, With Tilbury FC still in with a mathematical chance of winning.

Stifford A go into their penultimate game as favourites to win both games and defend their title, but will be looking to pick up as many games as possible against Thurrock Rugby club, to extend their lead over second place South Ockendon.

South Ockendon will be looking to pick up as many games as possible against the George and Dragon, to give themselves the best possible chance going into the final game against Stifford A. Which could turn out to be the league winning decider!

Chadwell are relying on Thurrock RFC or the George and Dragon to cause an upset in the penultimate week, while they need to go away to Rileys and take as many games as possible, and will have a tough game against Tilbury FC in the final game of the year.

Tilbury FC are mathematically still in the title chase, relying on Stifford A to lose their penultimate game and South Ockendon to lose at least their last game against Stifford A. Tilbury would need to get 6 points away to Stifford B and Chadwell to claim the league title
